If you looked up nervous in the dictionary, you would see a picture of me twisting my fingers and trying not to shake! I came prepared... maybe a little more than prepared, but that didn't help my sad case. I washed my hands until raw, sanitized my implements even when I didn't need to, and cleaned my sink twice every time I used it. Thats the good news... now for the bad... My haircut just wouldn't be a perfect 90! I checked it side to side, front to back, section to section! Yet, when the proctor checked I saw those terrible pieces poking out! How did they get there!!!! Why did they not show themselves when I sought them!!!! Grrr... then came the four on base curls... Yes the hair was supposed to be three inches minimum, but what if your models hair was thick and coarse? Oh, If I only had an extra inch... those horrible little sausage curls would form! Every time I curled that hair and released, the curl would unroll and stand up! Well... at least it was on base. I finished and went home with my heart sinking to the bottom of my chest....
Now for the waiting... It felt like forever.... I certainly was doomed... How could I not anticipate those problems... I've curled my models hair before, I knew it was stubborn! How could I have missed those pieces?... I really took my time!.... Oh, why can't the proctor just tell you right away how terrible you did?.... still waiting.... but my torture wasn't forever... the letter came....
94! I passed!!!! oh gosh, I guess I wasn't that bad;)
